The Jews expected a leader who would save them from Roman rule. Jesus was a spiritual leader whose impact is felt worldwide more than people expected Mt16:13-20
The Father pitied us when we were estranged from Him & sent His son to help us & redeem us back to Himself. Jesus showed compassion & helped people Mk9:21-23
One of the reasons for Christ's ministry on earth was to be an example of Christian living. He mentored the apostles & disciples to found His church Mk9:14-29
For all the trouble we face, God is able to show us how to get out of it, if that's His will for us. Don't get stressed. Let's ask Him what to do 1Cor10:13
In Ps2:8, Mt7:7, 11 we are told to pray for our needs. We have a God who is able to answer our prayers. Ask brethren to pray with you when you have troubles
The words of Jesus in Jn16:33 should give us the right perspective on trouble. It is present, but He has overcome it. Therefore, we shouldn't be stressed by it.
There'll always be challenges around us. We shouldn't focus too much on them. Let's try to trust God to deal with them or show us what to do with them Mk12:28-31
There is enough evidence of the potency of God's supernatural power around us, yet many still don't believe. What else must be done to convince them? Jn12:37
We ought to distinguish between our desires & the Lord's promises. He is a covenant keeping God & is therefore faithful to His word. We can trust Him Nm23:13-20
