The importance of being in God’s will and being a woman/man of faith who stands in the gap is seen in Genesis 18:16-33, where Abraham pleads for Sodom before its destruction. The fact that the Lord honours such faith is seen in His willingness to listen to Abraham and also to spare the city if only 10 righteous people were to be found there. May we be found worthy of standing before the land and standing in the gap for others.
