On the other hand, the most repeated verse in the old testament is the one describing God’s nature. He is slow to anger and abiding in love and faithfulness. He is compassionate. He maintains love to thousands of generations; and forgives wickedness. He also punishes. No piece of wood or metal does that. Exodus 34:6-7.

CROSSROADS WITU CHURCH CONSTRUCTION

On 16th August 2021, Pastor Robert Manley made yet another plea – please help us complete the construction of our new church! The old structure had already been torn down as it was getting unsafe to worship in (it was a temporary structure). The church had already progressed the construction and were only looking for help to complete it! In addition, the church expressly advised that any donations should be sent to their bank account and that all monies received would be accounted for! He sent a series of videos. One introducing the project; another to show the progression of works; and a final one to show the completed project. May you be blessed as you see the progression! If you’d like to contact the Pastor Manley directly please feel free to Call Pastor Manley on +254-720-179551.

Isaiah 41:7 & 21-24 describes how helpless idols are, the things we exalt and focus on as opposed to worshipping Jehovah. May we realise that we need to invest more time in our relationship with God because He is the Lord of Lords. He is not nailed down to stay upright. He created the universe by His word. He doesn’t have to be renovated. He is omnipotent and omniscient!

The presence of God has benefits. It is therefore critical to be in His presence by knowing Him and loving Him. Not being in His presence means one is denied the guidance of His Spirit. And if we know Him and love Him, there is no place we can hide from His Spirit. Psalm 139:7-12.

Let us purpose to maintain our focus on God no matter what is going on around us. He hears us and He will speak to us concerning our situation. Pray and listen, then align to His will. Psalm 69:13-18.

And as I prioritise my relationship with God by placing Him before everything else in my life, even though I face difficult times I will be able to praise Him. Psalm 69:9 & 30.

What is my focus as I live my life? What preoccupies me most? What drives me on a daily basis? Is it the quest for success? Is it my relationship with God? I trust easily and that gets me into trouble often. May I have the right focus and may the Lord protect me. May my enemies not triumph over me. May the Lord’s word concerning me come to pass. Psalm 69.

I woke up praising the Lord and glorifying Gis holy name despite my circumstances. I woke up with a song of praise in my heart. The Lord knows everything concerning me and He is my refuge. He will forgive me for my trespasses and deliver me from my enemies. He is the Lord most high. Psalm 69.

Romans 1:28-32 sums up the challenges humanity faces today. Greed and depravity of the mind as described here places a mirror in front of humans today. We can see that what was described by Paul about 2000 years ago is still happening today. Are you relieved that it is nothing new or are you saddened that we don’t seem to learn?

Our relationship with God is not based on a 50/50 ratio. He is the Almighty God, the Creator of the universe. But man decided to get wise and took the Creator for granted. Funny thing is what Paul castigated the Christians in Rome about is the same thing plaguing mankind today. Romans 1:21-27.
