Godly wisdom is something we should all cherish. May the Lord grant it to us in His mercy so that we make decisions that glorify Him. And where we lack it, may we not hesitate to discern that we need it and to ask. Proverbs 26:1-12.

I’m also reminded of Jesus’s plight in Matthew 26:39. The agony of His situation was heavy, yet He still desired to do God’s will. May we tap into God’s grace to help us not give up in the most difficult times.

Victory and suffering are part and parcel of life’s journey. But through both seasons God remains God. His grace is sufficient in all circumstances and we need it to remain humble and maintain focused on God’s will. Job 2:1-10.

As we serve the Lord there will be battles. We shall experience difficult times. But His sacrifice on the cross made it worth it. And He has also given us an excellent name and a testimony. May we experience victory and have excellent testimonies. Revelation 12:10-11.

Are we also helping our children, mentees, etc become better? The Lord can help us discover creative ways of doing that. Our motivation should be love for God and for others. Hebrews 8:7-13.

The love of God the Father is seen in the lengths He goes to for us. He establishes a new covenant for our benefit and to do that He had to sacrifice His own Son. The intricacies of the establishment of the new covenant show His love for us. Hebrews 8:1-6.
