May we therefore trust God to help us and may our gifts be nurtured for His use. The staff we read about became God’s staff and Moses grew in understanding. He allowed God to work through him even when things on the ground must have looked so different from what God had promised. I’m not sure how long it took before the 10 plagues were over and Israel was allowed to leave. It must have taken faith in God for Moses to endure all that. Exodus 4:18-31.

The staff in the hand of Moses was an ordinary staff. The Lord’s anointing is what enabled it to do extraordinary things. May the Lord anoint whatever He has placed in our hands for His use to the glory of His name. Exodus 4:2-17.

With the help of God, identify the gift He has placed in you and develop it so that He can use it later to bring glory to Himself. Also take time to pray and develop spiritual discipline so that when the time of uplifting comes, the big stage and bright lights do not cause confusion. Exodus 4:1-17.

Jesus directed Peter to a fish to get resources to pay taxes. Jehovah is mighty. His grace is sufficient. May we be where He wants us to be. There is nothing that is too difficult for Him. Matthew 17:24-27.

God’s plan for me involves gifts He gave me to impact others. Discovering them and using them for His glory needs guidance from Him. May we be aware and deal accordingly. 2 Timothy 1:6-10.

God has a plan for you and me. That’s how much He loves us. We can choose to discover what it is and whether to abide in it or not. John chose to stick to it. Fame and people tried distracting him but he remained steadfast. May we learn from him. John 3:22-36.

The ultimate proof of God’s love is the sacrifice of Jesus for the salvation of mankind. May as many who hear about it honour this act of love by believing in God. John 3:16-21.

God’s love for His children is seen throughout the scriptures. There is no doubt that He loves them. Even after punishment He restores them. May we not take that for granted. Obadiah 17-21.

May we have compassion on those going through a difficult time. May the Lord prompt us to do His will and may we comply. Edom did not and judgment was pronounced. Obadiah verse 1-16.
