Ephesians 4:17-24 expounds what Paul challenged the Romans to do in chapter 12 verse 1 and 2. When the world looks at us, are we different? What I the condition of our hearts? What do we immerse ourselves in? May we purpose to put off our old self.

Knowing what we know about the Lord’s unsearchable wisdom, knowledge and power, let us then do what Romans 12:1-2 says. That should be our response to Him and to His unfailing love for us.

The fact that we cannot figure God out means that we ought to trust Him fully if we decide to follow Him. He is the possessor of absolute power and wisdom, the source of all things. May we believe that He is able to watch over us. Romans 11:34-36.

May we settle it in our minds that Jehovah loves us more than anyone ever could. May we also accept, that He is more than enough, He is what we need. It sounds simplistic, but the sooner we accept that the better it will be for us. We will then be able to allow Him to guide us more and more. We will depend on His grace and wisdom, not our own. Then we will see Him at work in and around us. Then we will follow His lead. Then we will have peace. Romans 11:17-24.

Head knowledge is good, but it is limited. May we desire personal experiences with God that go beyond head knowledge. May we be convinced of God’s majesty and may we be witnesses of the same. May we not give up and be misled like the Jews, rather may we be convinced of the power of salvation and the saving grace of Christ Jesus and may we have experiences that reflect it. Romans 11:13-16.

Are you at that point where you feel more is being demanded of you from every angle, yet you feel devoid of energy to give more? The Jews had been regarded as God’s children and a lot must have been expected of them. They must have then developed their own reality to a point where they even missed the coming of the Messiah. May the Lord help us to stay in touch with His reality. Romans 11:7-12.

The battle of the mind is the greatest battle. The mind determines our outlook to life which then impacts our actions. May we not lose that battle. Romans 8:6.

We know that the Lord loves us dearly and I hope we will remember that. But let us also be aware that there are things he detests and let us try and avoid them. Proverbs 6:16-19.

The Lord loves all irrespective of their background. He ministered to Cornelius and the other Gentiles gathered in his home just as He did to the Jews. Peter just obeyed and the Lord worked through him. May we have faith that we are loved and that He has a plan for us. We need to constantly seek Him to know what He desires for us. Acts 10:34-48.
