The concept of praying for one another or standing in the gap for others is not foreign. In Exodus 17:10-15, Moses lifted the staff of God in His hands as Joshua led the army in war against Amalek. This may have signified the glory of God, and is the origin of the name Jehovah Nissi. Allow me to use this analogy to encourage us to constantly pray for one another and for the church and nation. I hope we will one day hear great testimonies of breakthrough due to God’s mercy because of our action of faith.
