As we break for Christmas and the new year, may the fullness of God be your experience now and in the future. May He who is above everything guide you and use you as a worthy vessel. May He watch over you and grant you peace. God bless.

John 3:14-17 gives a good summary of the reason for Christ’s coming. May we not lose sight of this as we celebrate Christmas.

2019 has been a tough year for many of us. However, the Lord has brought us through to the end. May the fact that Christ came and dwelt among men bringing hope be a great blessing to us in 2020 and beyond. May the victory He represents increasingly be our portion in the days to come. Matthew 8:23-27.

About 700 years before Christ came, Isaiah prophesied about Him and about some of the things He will do. Christmas is not a fairy tale. Christ came to bring salvation before judgement. Let us reflect on the reason for this visitation and live with understanding. Isaiah 11:1-5.

According to Colossians 2:6-12, we are encouraged not only to accept the Lord, but to continue being rooted in Him so that we may experience God’s fullness at work in our lives! This is God’s gift to us. This is my focus this Christmas, that I would experience this fullness of God in increasing measure going forward, the full power & presence of God!

Our actions then should be driven by love, if we are going to reflect Him; tough love sometimes. He never gives up on us, neither should we give up on ourselves or on others Colossians 2:6-12.

What is our focus this Christmas? Allow me to suggest that loving God should be partly expressed through loving mankind. I hope we can operate here on earth like people who have revelation about who God is and what He expects of us. John 3:31-34.

The Lord has allowed us to get to the end of another year. It is not something to take for granted. Even as we show gratitude, may we have a contrite heart and a willingness to keep growing in Him. 1Chronicles 16:8-36.

An act of obedience could lead to the transformation of many lives, just like happened to Ananias and Saul in Acts 9:1-18. God had a plan for both of them, but they also had a role to play. As a result, most of the books in the new testament were written by Saul. Is there something that the Lord wants you to do?
