Faithfulness is a virtue that God honours. Amidst all that is going on around and in us, let us trust Him to help us remain faithful to Him and His word. May this translate into a lifestyle. Luke 12:42-44.

The right attitude will also help us to focus on God and what He wants us to learn as we go through difficult times. He still wants to use our gifts even during tough times. Don’t be surprised if responsibilities increase during tough times. He will carry us through. Luke 12:49-59.

Another week starts, we get back to our daily routine. Should it be the same old back to the grind story? For us, no. We should try and always prepare for Christ’s coming. I hope that can create an awareness and disposition that informs our day to day actions. We do not know the time nor the hour, but let us be prepared. Luke 12:35-40.

And as we have impact for the Lord’s glory, may we also have faith that He will take care of us. May worry for our provision not consume us. He sees, He knows, He cares, He will provide. Luke 12:22-34.

There are those who will be endowed with material riches, and that is fine. The issue is not to make them the object of worship and to understand what their purpose is. The same applies to wisdom or any gifts that one may have. May we use them for the Lord’s glory. Psalm 49:13-20.

And as we purpose to serve those God has placed around us, may we tap into His abundant grace so as to be effective. Like Psalm 49 says, let us not fear challenges nor adore those who put their trust in material wealth. May we put our trust in God alone and draw encouragement from His promises. Psalm 49:1-20.

We all have a sphere of influence, a space the Lord has allowed us to have impact. May we behave responsibly in that space, in accordance with God’s will for the glory of God and the benefit of those whose lives we are meant to impact. And as we serve, may we not be anxious about our service nor about our needs. Isaiah 32:1-8.

What does the new week have in store for me? I’m not sure. How will things work out? I don’t know. But one thing I do know is that the Almighty God is capable of seeing me through whatever lies ahead of me if I surrender to Him. He is the creator of His will for me, so I will purpose to walk in it. Isaiah 32:1-8.

I’m not in any way under playing the challenges some of us are going through. My humble task is to encourage us not to give up, like Paul encouraged the Corinthians in 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 & 16-18. May the Holy Spirit remind us that were it not for Him, we wouldn’t be alive today. May we stop grumbling and fix our eyes on Him who can help us through the difficulties we are experiencing.

Acknowledging that God is mighty and gracious and believing that He is loving and caring is easier when we are humble enough to admit it and when we carefully examine our lives and the lives of those around us to see how He relates to others and what He does in people’s lives. 1 Peter 5:5-6.
