A good measure of faith in God is required if we are to maintain our sanity in the midst of all that is going on around us. We must believe that God exists and that He hears us when we call. That He is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him. Psalm 69:13-18.

Our desire for more resources may be fed by the amount of need all around us. There is so much need, it can be overwhelming. Time, money and our skills cannot be adequate to sort out all those around us who need help. May we turn to the Lord daily and hand over those burdens, because only He can minister adequately all those in need. May we also follow His lead on where to plug in. Psalm 68:19-20.

May we have the right focus when it comes to material things. May godliness with contentment be our portion. And where the Lord blesses us materially, may He makes us glad. Ecclesiastes 5:10-20.

The eternal nature of God gives us the assurance that even if circumstances change, He remains the same. And due to His love, He restores us and will do so again. His years never end. His love endures forever. Psalm 102:12-28.

I also pray that the Lord may continue to shower us with His love and mercy. May there be no doubt in our minds about the love of God towards us. Even in the most difficult times, may we know that God is love and He is concerned about us. 2 Kings 8:1-6.

Once we get revelation and insight into who we are in God, then it should not be difficult to worship Him and accord Him honour and praise. The freedom that comes with it brings joy. Psalm 100:1-5.

Judges 3:1-11 gives us more insight into God’s character. He loves intentionally and is concerned about His children. He is love personified. May we experience that always.
