Having a relationship with God and knowing His Word are useful in navigating this life. The Word of God us a wonderful resource for us. A relationship with Him helps us to understand Him more and if we keep growing in our walk with God, we shall keep growing in His image and likeness. Hebrews 4:12.

Jesus would have indulged the tempter to try and win him over. But he went straight to scripture and used it as a basis to make His decision. There is a reason why the tempter bears that name. May we be decisive in dealing with him. It will save us time, effort and premium tears. Matthew 4:1-11.

In Matthew 4:1-11, Jesus overcame the tempter by grace and conviction based on the word of God. How are we dealing with such challenges? Are we using worldly wisdom and our intellect? Are we depending on our experience? Is it working?

By dying on the cross, Jesus demonstrated His love for mankind. This showed His love for us. We are encouraged to live for Him because of what He did for us. But it is also sound advice to live for Him, because it has so many benefits for us. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15.

The Lord is worthy of praise. He deserves honour and gratitude. He has also done so much for us and continues to sustain us. David praised Him because He gave him victory over his enemies. What are you grateful for today? 2 Samuel 22:47-51.

Our duty is to also live in fellowship with those around us and share the love of God with them. We ought to minister to others as God ministers to us. Fellowship with Him will provide the grace and resources to do so. This is one way through which they will experience the love of God. Acts 2:42-47.

I always marvel at the story of Jesus that runs throughout the bible. God’s plan for the salvation of mankind was so intricately planned and executed so that we may enjoy eternal life. His motivation was love, love, love for you and for me. Acts 2:34-41.

The reason we should thank God for Easter is that death could not hold Jesus. He overcame it and rose again after crucifixion. Likewise, nothing will stop the will of God from being fulfilled in our lives if we believe. No problem, no power, no person will succeed in this. Acts 2:22-33.
