Peace of mind becomes more important as we get older. May we find comfort in knowing that despite Satan being the accuser of the brethren, we have Christ Himself interceding for us. We are also so fortunate to have God on our side. Romans 8:31-34.

I definitely am a witness of God’s faithfulness, both in my life and in the lives of countless others. I have a witness, that He is the fountain of life. I am also aware that He can turn around circumstances for my good, because I have seen Him do it. This gives me hope, when uncertainty looms. Be encouraged. Jehovah has a record of goodness and faithfulness. Romans 8:28.

Being dependent on the Holy Spirit in all circumstances is something I am working on to help me maintain focus. There are many times when I’m not sure what to do. I hope that the Lord will give me direction so that I remain in His will. Romans 8:26-28.

Challenges are meant to be learning opportunities for us. They ought to strengthen us. The anticipated glory that awaits us as the children of God should give us the motivation to endure whatever troubles we experience. May the glory of the Lord be evident upon us. Romans 8:18-21.

So that which the Lord has called us into in 2024, even if it looks insurmountable, He will help us to accomplish it for His glory. Let us not be afraid, because He who promised is faithful. Romans 8:15-17.

So let us trust the Lord. Let us believe that He is well able to guide us and cause His purposes to be fulfilled, even when things don’t look good. May we hear Him and may our testimony at the end of the year show His faithfulness and love towards us. Psalm 22:1-5.

The Lord who created us knows why He allowed us to walk on this earth. He is best placed to define our purpose. May we not tire going back to Him to inquire what our purpose is. Luke 9:10-43 gives us a rough idea of what He is capable of. May we purpose to serve Him alone.

May the clarity of our purpose keep increasing as we grow in God. May this then guide how we live and what we do. May our energy direct us towards fulfilling that purpose and may it bring glory to God. Ephesians 3:1-9.

Our identity and purpose are rooted in the the work that Jesus did on the cross. That sacrifice granted us access into the family of believers. Wisdom then dictates that we go to Him for direction. May we purpose to be part of this family of faith and to constantly seek His will even as we start 2024. Ephesians 2:11-13.
