So, Jehovah is at work even when it doesn’t seem like He cares. He loves us more than we will ever know. May our circumstances not diminish our faith and trust in Him. May we still believe in Him and honour Him. Psalm 95:1-11.

And as we trust Him daily, He will work in and through us and do His will. This will make others praise Him. May our lives constantly bring Him praise, every single day. Matthew 5:16.

The good news is that we do not need to operate in our own strength as we strive to be leaders that leave a legacy. The Lord had made provision for us. Ours is to trust on a daily basis and depend on Him. Ephesians 4:7-8.

Our role as leaders and parents demands that we live a certain way if we are going to impact others positively for God’s glory. We can’t just do whatever we desire whenever we feel like it. May we be conscious that those who look up to us can be misguided if we are not careful. Whether we like it or not, there are people who observe us constantly. Galatians 5:16-17.

As we role model and parent our kids and others who depend on us and look up to us, may we radiate christ-likeness. This will give us a basis for behaviour and authority that is founded on God’s word. We shall also create an enabling environment for God to have His way. Ephesians 6:1-4.

So let us be thankful for the Lord’s mercy and appreciate this aspect of His character. Let us not forget it. It is reassuring to know that His mercies never fail. May we always worship Him. Psalm 116:5.

A return to God brought about the much needed change that the children of God needed as explained in 2 Chronicles 29:34-36. Perhaps it is something we can reflect on. Are there things that have led us away from God? Do we need to refocus on the giver of eternal life?

To the children of Israel, the reminder of what God had done for them was to revive their faith and hope in Him. He had spoken audibly to them and done amazing things. Yet they still feared entering the promised land. May the Lord keep doing marvellous things in our midst for His honour and glory and the edification of the church. Deuteronomy 4:32-40.

Jehovah is consistent and reliable. He keeps His word. Because of His love for the nation of Israel, He kept His promise that He had made to their forefathers. We can therefore infer that He is merciful and faithful. Deuteronomy 4:31.

We may reason one way based on our understanding of circumstances and our experience, but the Lord may have another view, because He has the benefit of seeing the big picture, which is His will for us. May we constantly seek to know it. John 7:1-9.
