The love that God has for us surpasses knowledge. That’s why we cannot fathom how wide, long, deep and high it is. May we see this love at work in our lives and around us. May it touch the hardest heart and spur a positive response from each of us, so that we may try and love like He does. Ephesians 3:17b-19.

The more I realise how much God loves me, the more my perspective of life changes. This also influences the way I behave towards others, albeit not as much as I would like. May His joy fill us more and more and may we love others more. Ephesians 3:17b-19.

I’m becoming more convinced that I don’t fully realise how much God loves us. If He were to deal with us like we deserve to be dealt with, some of us would not be where we are today. He is merciful and gracious. May He keep showing us how much He loves us. 2 Thessalonians 3:5.

The Macedonians were not financially well off. But their generosity was even mentioned in 2 Corinthians 8:1-15. One may feel that they cannot help others when in need. Let us be motivated by the love of God to do as He guides. He will support us. He loves us.

Let us therefore have faith, that as we continue to work for the Lord, He will keep ministering to us at our points of need. We should not be scared of investing in others. We are the stewards in whose hands the Lord places resources to do His work. 2 Corinthians 8:1-15; 1 Chronicles 29:14.

How will we be eulogised? How will we be remembered when we have rested? As we are led by the Lord, may our lives bring hope to those the Lord wants to encourage and may our deeds touch those the Lord wants to touch through us. May we be celebrated for our good deeds and may people smile every time they remember us. Mark 10:45.

May we be able to look beyond our circumstances, because God’s focus on us is still there. He hasn’t forgotten us. May we be able to see what He wants us to do. May we not be so preoccupied with ourselves, that we fail to do His will. There are other people He wants us to assist or situations He would like us to impact for His glory. His eye is on us. It is well. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

May our conduct while enduring challenges reflect our reliance on God’s grace and His love and mercy upon us. May this minister to us and those around us in a powerful way. For His work in our lives is not only for our benefit, rather, for the glory of His name among those who witness it. 2 Corinthians 1:12.

The challenges we endure as we journey through life are meant to increase our faith in God. The enormity of some makes us realise that we cannot surmount them in our own strength. This should make us trust in God more. 2 Corinthians 1:3–11.
