May the Holy Spirit give us wisdom and understanding concerning the times we are living in so that we may know God’s will for this season. May we be encouraged to continue living for God. May we be fruitful even in difficult times because He has enabled us to do it. May we also be joyful because of the salvation and adoption He has freely given us. Colossians 1:9-14.

So, do you feel inadequate for the task ahead of you? Do you feel helpless and can’t see how things will work out? The heroes of faith felt the same way. The circumstances they were faced with were so difficult, yet the Lord helped them. Luke 18:18-27.

The type of walk that Moses had with God makes one more aware of time and opportunities, hence the tendency to make wise decisions. He also communed with God and heard what he should do. He was assured of God’s love and support. He found favour with God and God revealed a lot to him. God also blessed the work of his hands. There was evidence of God’s presence in his life. May we also be blessed this way. Psalm 90:12-17.

May the Lord have mercy on us and not be angry with us. May we pay attention to how we live and be keen to be intentional about doing His will every time. May we find favour with Him and may we be motivated by love in all we do. May we experience His joy and may His blessings overtake us and impact those around us. May He bless the work of our hands and give us peace. Psalm 90:12-17.

According to Moses in Psalm 90:10, the average lifespan of a human being is 70-80 years. In verses 1-4, he depicts God as eternal and the brevity of the life of humans. In verses 5-10, Moses laments about the life of the Israelites who were wandering in the wilderness for 40 years without entering the promised land. Have I accomplished God’s will thus far? How much longer do I have on earth? What does the Lord still want me to do?

And the Lord goes on to prepare and equip Moses. As He informs Moses on what to do, He also paints a picture of what will happen and what to expect. He also addresses fears and doubts that Moses has and provides solutions. Nothing that happens to us catches God by surprise. Exodus 3:11-4:17.

The second thing the Lord did was introduce Himself to Moses. Moses got to know Him. The Lord also revealed the purpose of His mission to Moses. Do you know who Jehovah is? Is He trying to reveal something new ro you in the season you are in? Are you equipped for the season? Exodus 3:6-10.

For Moses it all started with being connected to God. The next step was accepting to do His will. Once he got to that point, he did not know how to proceed. God basically started by using what Moses had. He empowered him. I don’t think Moses had a clue about what God could do using a staff for example. May the Lord keep amazing us with His infinite wisdom and power. Exodus 4:1-5.

Abraham, Joseph, Moses and the others God used were malleable. They had weaknesses, but were willing to conform to God’s will. God made provision for them to thrive because He wanted to accomplish His purposes. May we find favour before God. Exodus 3:11-22.
