What is making us angry? Are we angry at someone? What is God asking us to do about that person or thing or situation that is causing us so much pain? Are we angrier when things seem to go well for that person or thing? May we learn from Jonah’s experience. May the Lord open our eyes to His will concerning them or the situation. Jonah 4:1-11.

The Lord is compassionate and loving. He also spoke to Jonah a second time, sending him to speak to the people. He forgave the Ninevites after they genuinely repented. Jonah 3:1-10.

No place is too far for the Lord. He can reach you wherever you are. He rescued Jonah from the depths of the sea. Jonah repented and was rescued. May we turn back to the Lord because He alone is our help, refuge and salvation. Jonah 2:1-10.

And as we prosper courtesy of Jehovah, may we bless our children. May we attract God’s favour, but remember to leave a blessed legacy. May we trust God for them and set a good example of godliness. May the Lord help them overcome the challenges they encounter and give them victory. Psalm 72:1-20.

And as we accept Christ and commit to live for Him and are filled with gratitude to God, may we not be misled by human traditions and worldly principles. May we be aware that the fullness of Jehovah resides in Christ who in turn resides in every believer. We are blessed 🙌. May that awareness open up new horizons. Colossians 2:8-15.

In response to God’s love, may we make a commitment by accepting Him and allowing Him to lead us. May we purpose to learn from Him and to grow in His ways by ensuring we get equipped through His word and other encounters with Him. Colossians 2:6-7.

To show how much God loves us, our adoption as His children was determined even before we were born, before we could do anything to earn it. May the reality of the extent of His lovec and how intentional He is about us, convince even the most hard hearted person to accept this love and surrender in response to it. Ephesians 1:5

In Christ we have all the benefits of knowing God, e.g. salvation, adoption as His children, forgiveness, wisdom, the gifts of the Spirit, power to do God’s will, eternal life, etc. May no other desire overcome the desire to know Him more. Ephesians 1:3.

I’m trying to figure out how the disciples felt being in the presence of the risen Lord. It must have been gratifying. His presence must have ministered to them in many ways. May we experience His presence also and be ministered to. Psalm 96:4-6; John 21:10-14.
