The other thing we can do is focus on Jesus, even as we walk this journey of life. May the ups and downs of life not cloud our gaze upon the Saviour. May that gaze remain steadfast, so that we do not sink like Peter. Hebrews 12:1-3.

The part we should play is to acknowledge Christ’s work for us at the cross and have faith in it, then work out our salvation with reverence as we await His return. Believing in Him and being good ambassadors has implications for us. Philippians 2:12-16.

As we purpose to live in a way that glorifies God, may the Lord help us. We sometimes face so many challenges that it is easy to feel overwhelmed. May His grace, wisdom, power and provision suffice for every situation we face. May He fight for us and hold us up for His name’s sake. Psalm 3:1-8.

And as the Lord works in us to do His will and imparts knowledge and wisdom, as He does amazing things in our lives for His glory and fills us with His power, may we be faithful to our calling in Him. Are you in transition or in the middle of a season? Whatever the circumstances, I pray that we shall remain in God’s will. I pray against anything that would seek to destroy our destinies. May the Lord’s plan for our lives prevail, and may He accomplish that which He wants to do in us and through us. Isaiah 46:9-11.

As we work for the Lord, let us understand who we are working for. We are serving Jehovah, the creator of the universe. He is beyond comprehension. He is mighty and gracious, loving and able. We should be proud representing Him here on earth. Psalm 104:1-15.

And as we walk in God’s ways, there are others who are looking up to us. They draw inspiration from us. May we be conscious of that and depend on God to be good role models and mentors. May He guide and equip us with grace, knowledge and anointing to mentor them well. And may we be blessed as we see them come to the faith and grow. 1 Thessalonians 3:6-13.

It is delightful to know God, to walk in His ways. He makes a way where there seems to be no way. He heals and delivers. He saves us from affliction. He supplies our needs. May we purpose to know Him more. Psalm 62:5-8.

And when victory comes, may we not forget to show our gratitude to God. May we not take His love for granted. We may show it in different ways. One is to give our hearts to Him. We may also choose to give our resources to His work, our time, effort, finances, and other material resources. This impacts the lives of others and has a lasting impact on them and on us too. 2 Corinthians 9:6-15.
