The frailty of life, the constant reminder of our limitations as human beings can bring about moments of reflection. May we not be overwhelmed as believers. These are the moments to remember that our Redeemer lives and that nothing catches Him by surprise. Be encouraged. Job 19:25-27.

And may we not forget to hope in the Lord at all times. According to Isaiah 40:31, doing that renews our strength. The rigors of life can drain us. But let us hope in God.

As we focus on God’s mission and entrust our imperfections to Him, we will have personal experiences with Him. These will in turn help us to know Him better. As a result, we will have a witness when we encounter new circumstances, even if they are trials. 1 Peter 1:3-9.

When we surrender to the Lord, He becomes our shepherd. May we follow Him and trust that He will lead us to do His will. Let us not focus on the imperfections and lose sight of what He wants us to do. May we focus on His mission and trust Him to help us with our imperfections. John 10:1-10.

The same Peter that was used of God to raise Tabitha was not perfect. Neither was Jehu, whom we looked at last week. But God chose to use them to fulfill His purposes. May the Lord find us worthy, even as we work on our imperfections with His help. Acts 10:1-8.

The church in the book of Acts was united. The brethren faced challenges, but the grace of God was upon them. They loved and supported each other. May the Lord help us to grow together and may He find vessels among us that He can work with. Acts 9:36-43.
