The Lord who created us knows why He allowed us to walk on this earth. He is best placed to define our purpose. May we not tire going back to Him to inquire what our purpose is. Luke 9:10-43 gives us a rough idea of what He is capable of. May we purpose to serve Him alone.

May the clarity of our purpose keep increasing as we grow in God. May this then guide how we live and what we do. May our energy direct us towards fulfilling that purpose and may it bring glory to God. Ephesians 3:1-9.

Our identity and purpose are rooted in the the work that Jesus did on the cross. That sacrifice granted us access into the family of believers. Wisdom then dictates that we go to Him for direction. May we purpose to be part of this family of faith and to constantly seek His will even as we start 2024. Ephesians 2:11-13.

Mary echoed the words of her sister Martha. She also believed, that if Jesus had visited them earlier, their brother would still be alive. Both sisters had resigned to the fact that it was too late. In that instance, it was not too late. John 11:24-44.

There is something we can learn from John 11:17-23 about attitude during challenges. Are we hopeful when in distress or are we overly emotional? Is our faith so great that we never give up?

There are experiences that we go through frequently that point to Luke 9:23-24. We must not tire living for the Lord. When we live for Him, our faith will be put to the test.

How are we when we are under pressure? Do we anticipate that a difficult season is coming? Are we loud and emotional or are we pensive in prayer asking the Lord for grace and understanding that it is not permanent? Isaiah 53:7.

The one I thing I purpose to do continuously is to be hopeful. Our hope in God triggers His mercy. Our faith in Him moves Him to be compassionate. So I will wait on Him. Lamentations 3:21-26.
