Mary echoed the words of her sister Martha. She also believed, that if Jesus had visited them earlier, their brother would still be alive. Both sisters had resigned to the fact that it was too late. In that instance, it was not too late. John 11:24-44.

The one I thing I purpose to do continuously is to be hopeful. Our hope in God triggers His mercy. Our faith in Him moves Him to be compassionate. So I will wait on Him. Lamentations 3:21-26.

I don’t know what you are trusting the Lord for in 2024. One thing I desire as I get older is more guidance from Him. May He be merciful enough to guide my steps every single day. That can save me a lot of time and effort. John 21:1-14.

To honour is to accord reverence, to show respect. When we show honour, it means we value someone or something. When we honour the Lord it becomes easier to live for Him, because we value Him. Jesus addresses this in John 5:23.

One can hardly forget the woman in Mark 14:3-9 because of the unique way in which she honoured Jesus. If she had done the expected, we probably would not remember her as much. May we remember to honour the Lord in our own way. A blessed 2024!
