We are all guilty of folly or foolishness. What helps us is the fact that we serve a merciful God. He went further and and gave up His son as an atonement for our sins. Isaiah 53:1-9.

Lack of wisdom can make one lose his or her life. Are we missing opportunities due to folly? Are we failing to have the desired impact due to folly? Is our stubbornness making us and others suffer? 1 Samuel 25:1-38.

I’m also reminded of Jesus’s plight in Matthew 26:39. The agony of His situation was heavy, yet He still desired to do God’s will. May we tap into God’s grace to help us not give up in the most difficult times.

Victory and suffering are part and parcel of life’s journey. But through both seasons God remains God. His grace is sufficient in all circumstances and we need it to remain humble and maintain focused on God’s will. Job 2:1-10.

As we serve the Lord there will be battles. We shall experience difficult times. But His sacrifice on the cross made it worth it. And He has also given us an excellent name and a testimony. May we experience victory and have excellent testimonies. Revelation 12:10-11.

The Lord instituted a rigorous procedure of cleansing so that His people would be worthy to serve Him. Christ endured suffering to make the procedure much easier for you and me. But the end goal is the same: to make us worthy for God’s service. Are you ready? Hebrews 9:1-14.
