And sometimes all we can hold onto is hope, having faith that the Lord will see us through what we are battling with. There may also be a testimony that encourages us. May the Lord reassure us of His love. Hebrews 12:1-3.

May the words of 1 Peter 5:10-11 be something we can identify with. May we emerge stronger and may our faith grow even as we endure hardship. May there be respite from hardship and may we encourage others who are going through challenges. May shouts of joy resound in our homes and may our witness be impactful for His glory.

As we humble ourselves and pray and commit ourselves and others to the Lord, may the Holy Spirit open our spiritual eyes to see what the human eye cannot see. May we perceive what the flesh cannot perceive. May our spiritual antennae raise our awareness and may we resist the devil, in Jesus’ name. 1 Peter 5:8-9.

Anxiety is a common thing for us all. The issues is, do we carry the burdens causing anxiety by ourselves or do we share with God’s people about them? Have we learnt to take those burdens to God in prayer so that we are less anxious? We can only do that if we trust Him and others. We need to believe that He truly cares about us, and also ask Him to show us people who do too. 1 Peter 5:7.

Did Moses sulk when the Lord reminded him that he would not enter the promised land, or did he accept his plight and move on? Whichever way, the Lord’s will prevailed. May we save energy and just seek His will and follow it. Deuteronomy 32:48-52.

Let us teach God’s word to our children so that they know this God that we serve. That way, this word will not just be a story, because it is effective. Deuteronomy 32:46-47, Hebrews 4:12.

The Lord predicted the rebellion of His children in Deuteronomy 31:14-29. But being the loving God He is, He wrote a song to them reminding them of His love Deuteronomy 32:1-43. He is merciful. We are sinners, but we serve a loving God. May we never forsake Him.

The wrath of the Lord is terrifying. May we plead for mercy and turn back to Him if we have angered Him. Otherwise, our attempts at worship will be of no consequence. Isaiah 16:6-12.

The other thing that Galatians 6:7-10 points out is that every action triggers a certain reaction. When we act a certain way towards people, then they will mostly react in a particular way. May we keep in the will of God so that we may do what He wants us to do, and may good come out of it.

One way of serving others is doing good. When we do good, we emulate what Jesus did on earth. He helped others. As we have opportunity, may we be a blessing. Galatians 6:7-10.
