Jesus had a special relationship with the disciples and He revealed many things to them. Could we also have a relationship with Him that enables us to enjoy benefits like receiving the Holy Spirit, being loved by Him and the Father and being fruitful? John 14:21, 15:1-5.

May our trust in God increase. May we believe what Jesus said in John 14:15-18 and actually see the Counsellor or Advocate, the Spirit of truth at work in our lives and in our midst, and be convinced of the Lord’s love for us. May we discover what His good plan for us is and trust Him as He guides us day to day. May we trust Him more, dear friends.

May our love for God attract His favour so that the end result is what is described in John 14:23. May He choose to come and dwell with us. May His presence and the resultant benefits be our portion in Jesus’s name. Amen.

And there are times when we are at our wits end and we don’t know what else to do. We have tried all that we know and there seems to be no reprieve. May we find solace in the knowledge that we can still turn to God, that there are others who have experienced what we are going through and have pulled through with His help. Psalm 38:1-22.

May we find favour with Jehovah in 2023 and beyond. May He look favourably upon us and grant us His mercy and grace. May we be partakers of His blessings and promises. May we have continuous praise because of who He is and what He does. Isaiah 61:7.
