Some circumstances exist so that the name of the Lord can be glorified. The situation in John 9:1-7 is a good example. May the Lord have His way in our lives. May He be merciful enough to glorify Himself in our circumstances.

May we also realise that the understanding of some concerning the things of God may be hindered. Therefore, plead with me to the Lord that our eyes may be opened to see and consequently understand what we have been called into through Christ. May we also not lose sensitivity to God’s voice by being consumed by the things of this world. Constant communion with the Lord and with fellow believers is vital to remaining in tandem with God. Ephesians 4:17-19.

As opposed to the benefits of a child of God mentioned in Ephesians 1:3-14, the average person’s life is governed by what the scriptures say in Ecclesiastes 9:11. The former have an advantage due to God’s mercy.

Daily worship, constant prayer and meditation on scripture will improve our interaction with the Lord and usher in revelation. Revelation comes with a better understanding and we get encouraged in our spiritual walk. May the benefits that come with that keep increasing as we get to know the Lord better. Ephesians 1:3-14.

Daily interaction with the word of God is critical for revelation, which can help us to be set apart from the average child of God. By His help we can become exceptional and His word is foundational in bringing revelation concerning our distinction. Psalm 119:9, 11.

That we need God in order to excel in what He has called us to do is not disputable. We have fallen short of His glory. But He is mighty to save and desires to help us. This will cause God to help us to be set apart. Aren’t we blessed? Psalm 14:1-7.

Matthew 7:28-29 distinguishes Jesus’s teaching from that of the teachers of the law. Due to His background and His experience, he was different. There was a special anointing upon His life. May we be different because of His presence in us. May our experience with Him set us apart.

Do you get requested to pray for people, to speak to them and teach them? Matthew 4:23-24 should encourage you. You are not the only one. Spend time in prayer asking God to work in you and through you so that you may minister effectively and also be refreshed.

And yet, what moves the Lord most is found in Psalm 51:16-17 – a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart. One would expect that the Lord Almighty would have a long list of requirements for us to fulfill, yet he asks for this one simple thing. May we oblige and be humble enough to heed what He requires.

Jehovah is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. The trouble the children of Israel and David went through to restore the ark of the covenant to its rightful place demonstrates this. Uzzah died during the first attempt in 1 Chronicles 13:8-11. The second attempt in 1 Chronicles 15:11-28 worked better. The pomp shows what a big deal it was. May we understand how awesome Jehovah is and accord Him all the praise and honour.
