Moses had prepared Joshua for leadership after his death. Joshua picked up where Moses had left off. The support he got from the people was impressive. This shows the people respected him. May our children and mentees be well prepared too. May we do our best so that they can have the impact expected of them for God’s glory. Joshua 1:16-18.

May our relationship with God keep getting stronger and may we always be encouraged to serve Him, especially in the areas we are gifted. Isaiah 26:3, Matt 6:24-25, Psalm 16:8, 2 Corinthians 4:18.

How do athletes respond to victory? And to defeat? James 3:13 and Colossians 3:13 & 17 challenge us to do things differently when we win and lose. May we and may athletes give God the glory in victory and in defeat and be humble in both circumstances as well. People are watching us to learn from us. God is also watching us to see how we respond.
