Talking to God in sincerity should never tire us as His children. In our earnest conversations He ministers to us and answers prayer. Our consistency in interacting with Him opens our eyes more to His ways. May we not give up. Psalm 6:1-10.

The rebuilding of the temple was a physical sign of God’s faithfulness to His word. I’m sure many were encouraged by this. Ezra’s mission was to restore the spiritual life of God’s children which had been diluted by practices that made their hearts turn away from God. Even as we trust God for physical blessings, may we focus on our walk with Him. Ezra 6:19-7:10.

After the Jews were taken captive as the Lord had decreed, the lived in exile. The Lord asked them to live, have children and grow crops. Then he touched their conquerors who in turn allowed them to rebuild His temple in Jerusalem and supported the work. His word came to pass. Let’s keep praising Him. He is faithful. What is His word concerning you? Ezra 6:1-22.

Psalm 47 may have been written about the invasion of Judah by Assyria. The priests praised and worshipped despite the imminent danger. Desperation caused them to seek God. May we not give up despite the difficult circumstances we find ourselves in. We serve a mighty God.

We praise and worship Jehovah because He is worthy of praise. We also do so because of our experiences. These help us put His greatness into perspective. We serve a mighty God. 1 Chronicles 16:8-36.

Isaiah 40:21-26 describes the majesty of Jehovah. I like reading such scriptures because they remind me of the kind of God we serve. May we not forget.
