The wrath of the Lord is terrifying. May we plead for mercy and turn back to Him if we have angered Him. Otherwise, our attempts at worship will be of no consequence. Isaiah 16:6-12.

The other thing that Galatians 6:7-10 points out is that every action triggers a certain reaction. When we act a certain way towards people, then they will mostly react in a particular way. May we keep in the will of God so that we may do what He wants us to do, and may good come out of it.

One way of serving others is doing good. When we do good, we emulate what Jesus did on earth. He helped others. As we have opportunity, may we be a blessing. Galatians 6:7-10.

As we work to fend for our families or study, let us also remember to serve the Lord. By reason of our place in God’s divine plan, we should engage in the business of His kingdom. This can have eternal impact. Be a living epistle. Psalm 62:12, Matthew 16:27.

Let us not extort, nor put our trust in material things, for the Lord is greater that these. He is also just and can punish those who do wrong. May we be patient and may we put our trust in Him. He has a good plan for us. Psalm 62:9-12.

There are those who for whatever reason are keen on seeing us fall. They would like to break us and ruin our lives. But we have a Saviour who can protect us and destroy wicked plans hatched against us. We should purpose to find rest in Him. Psalm 62:1-8.

Sometimes the answer or solution that we need is very simple. It may just take a word to sort out a huge matter. May the Lord deliver us, may He come through for us in our different circumstances, for His glory. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Neither is our plight inconsequential to Him. Micah 2:12-13, Luke 5:1-10.

May we not seek out preachers and prophets who only share what our itching ears want to hear, those who condone our wrongdoing. May we also accept admonition from the Lord. Micah 2:6-7, 11 & 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

As we have the privilege to lead others in whatever capacity, may we be careful not to oppress them and not to take their property away from them. The consequences could be the destruction of families. Micah 2:1-5.

Peter and John didn’t give the beggar money. They gave him something better, something that impacted him more. Where was the first place the beggar went after the biggest event of his life?
