We are busy living life and trying to take care of our families and fulfilling our obligations. It may not occur to us that God is concerned about us. Take time to be grateful that He is. Some details we may consider not vital are important to Him. John 19:31-37

Not even the minutest detail of our lives escapes the attention of God. He is aware of it all. That’s the sort of God we serve. He is all knowing, hence the reason why He is the best listener to all our issues and knows what’s best for us. May we trust Him more and seek His guidance more and more. John 19:23-30.

Service to mankind is a good way to keep busy and have impact, even as we journey through life. It helps us not think too much about our circumstances even as we trust God for breakthrough. We get to learn as well as we serve. It is also a way of surrendering by focusing less on self and doing something that pleases God. Mark 10:45.

Part of surrender entails living for God. It is not necessarily easy, but He offers us grace to do it. We can depend on Him to achieve this. 1 Peter 4:1-6.

Wisdom dictates that surrendering to God by dying to self causes us to find favour with God and man. May the mercy of God locate us and our loved ones and may we experience His grace. Job 22:21-30.

The frailty of life, the constant reminder of our limitations as human beings can bring about moments of reflection. May we not be overwhelmed as believers. These are the moments to remember that our Redeemer lives and that nothing catches Him by surprise. Be encouraged. Job 19:25-27.

And may we not forget to hope in the Lord at all times. According to Isaiah 40:31, doing that renews our strength. The rigors of life can drain us. But let us hope in God.

As we focus on God’s mission and entrust our imperfections to Him, we will have personal experiences with Him. These will in turn help us to know Him better. As a result, we will have a witness when we encounter new circumstances, even if they are trials. 1 Peter 1:3-9.
