Hebrews 4:11 says, let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their (the Israelites’) example of disobedience. To appropriate this gift of God requires decision and commitment. One has to be willing and have the courage to make the decision. Then one has to be faithful. May none of us fall by following their example.

As long as we are willing to believe Him, nothing will separate us from God’s love. Not even death, nor demons, nor any powers. That’s how great His love for us is. But may we not take His love for granted. Romans 8:37-39.

God has promised that He will love us unconditionally. Our input is to accept Him and believe in Him and to purpose to avoid anything that would distract us from our divine purpose. Romans 8:37-39.

What is it that will potentially hinder us from doing God’s will in 2021 and beyond? Is it stuff that gives us pleasure but drives us away from God? Is it relationships that do not glorify Him? What is it that stops me from being the father, mother, sibling, child, employee, employer, business person, neighbour that would cause others to see God glorified in my life? Psalm 11.

Are there relationships you will have to break or scale down? Do you need more wisdom or knowledge to run family affairs and in your career or business? Proverbs 24:1-5.
