Let us not focus on appearance or what is externally visible and neglect what is inside of us. What is the condition of our hearts? That will determine how we live. May the Lord help us have a contrite heart and live in a way that glorifies His name. Luke 11:37-41.

The word of God declares that He is a safe refuge for us. He is our shield and rock beneath which we can stand and be secure. We can call on Him when we need protection and He will surround us. Psalm 18:1-6.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of a believer is priceless. He is present to protect, guide and empower. May we desire that ministry. May the Lord see the desire of our hearts and grant our wish. 2 Thessalonians 3:3-5.

The way Jesus expressed ownership of His sheep shows His love for them. He claimed them. The Jews were getting restless and wanted Him to confirm He was the Messiah. He said He was and pointed to the works He had done again. But their hearts were looking for something else. May the love of God for us convince us that He is a worthy shepherd, the greatest investment we can make. May we in turn love Him with everything we are and have. John 10:22-30.

Not everyone accepted to be a follower of Christ. Many doubted despite the evidence all around. There were expectations the Jews had of the Messiah and Jesus did not fit the mould. May we not miss our divine purpose. May we identify it. May the Lord have mercy on us too that we may enter into His fold. John 10:22-30

Why does God go the extra mile for us? Why is he so concerned about you and me? His motivation is love. Because He loves us so much, He sent His Son to redeem us. Those who identify with Him are His children and they know His voice. They follow Him. John 10:1-21.

God’s grace is also sufficient when we go through trials. May we depend on Him and purpose to stand when trials come our way. He is faithful. 1 Corinthians 10:13.

We are not helpless individuals wandering around the world. Christ led an exemplary life on earth and defeated death on the cross through His resurrection. He left us the Holy Spirit to empower us to live a victorious Christian life. Titus 2:11-14

Let us remember to share testimonies as we fellowship. This exhorts the brethren and causes the name of the Lord to be glorified. And let us not forget that some of the challenges we endure are to keep us from being conceited. May the Lord keep supplying us with His grace. This then calls for a change in perspective. May He open our eyes and minds to understand why we are going through challenges. 2 Corinthians 12:1-10.
