One of the things we need to guard against is diviners and idol worship. They promise attractive things and lure people away from God. May we trust in Jehovah and in Him alone. May He also reveal Himself to us and encourage us. May our conviction not be swayed. Zachariah 10:1-12.

We should also guard our hearts so that we don’t go against what God wants us to do. The flesh can lead us away from God. May His Spirit always guide us and help us counter the evil desires of the flesh. May wicked plans be foiled before they are implemented. 2 Samuel 13:3-6.

As we wait for our breakthrough, let us remember that there are those going through challenges that are far greater than ours. Let us pray for them and encourage them. Let us also remember that God avails His grace for us and let us trust that His grace is sufficient for us. 2 Corinthians 11:21-12:10.

We desire something now, but it is not happening. God doesn’t seem to be allowing it to happen. May we not be frustrated. Let us wait on Him and trust that He knows the perfect timing. He knows what’s best for us. John 7:1-9.

Therefore, we all have a clue about the greatness of Jehovah, because we see evidence of it in our daily life. Consequently, we need to be careful so that we are not judged due to our negligence. May we be convinced to yield to Him by the amazing things He does and may His presence also minister to us and to others around us to erase all doubt. Romans 1:18-20.

Who told the sun to rise in the morning and set in the evening and the moon to take over in the evening? Who makes the rain come at a particular time and vegetation grow at certain times? Who created the human body to function the way it does? The Lord ensures harmony in the universe. That is the Lord. That is how magnificent He is. The older I get the more I realise just how fortunate I am to experience who He is and what He does. May we take time to enjoy all these benefits. May His greatness encourage our hearts and add motivation to live for Him. May it motivate us to do good and be a reflection of Him. Psalm 145:1-12.

There are many things we don’t have control over, hence the need to trust in God. Only He can help us in such situations. And He is well able. May we learn to trust Him always. Isaiah 37:5-20.

Salvation and glory, honour and power belong to God. He is omniscient, omnipotent and merciful. Do you have a reason to praise Him today? If not, consider the fact that you are alive. He has given you breath. May we have reason to praise Him. May we have reason to rejoice and be glad. May we have reason to celebrate His goodness. Psalm 33:18-22.
