Let us be wary of those who rebel and go away from God. Their end is destruction. The desire to grow in God’s way, fellowship with God and other believers and studying God’s word help to keep us grounded. The guidance of the Holy Spirit is critical in this. May we be sensitive to Him. Jude 1-13.

An important aspect of prayer is repentance and another is adoration. God is just and also compassionate. Acknowledging our sins before Him is important and He honours that. May we also praise Him. He is gracious and has been so good to us. He is compassionate and loving. Nehemiah 9:1-6.

We know that God is attracted to where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name. Confession of sin should invoke prayer for forgiveness and restoration. James 5:13-18.
