To give our best, we need God’s guidance. May He grant us wisdom and courage to make the right decisions. Let us also not be anxious because the Lord is on our side. He is watching over us and ordering our steps. May we experience His peace and trust that He is taking care of us. Proverbs 3:21-26.

In Ephesians 4:17-32, Paul gives the the church in Ephesus instructions on how to live as Christians. In chapter 5:1, he explains why. We should emulate what God the Father did. He gave us His best, His Son, as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Are we giving our best as we live here on earth? Can our work, our relationships, our leadership, our life be considered as a worthy sacrifice? Jesus lived to the age of 33, but He did His best. His impact is still felt over 2000 years later. May the Lord help us and may we allow Him to do His will in us daily.

We have the benefit of serving Jehovah, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is mighty. I love reading various portions of scripture that describe His greatness. They help me partly visualize how majestic He is. Isaiah 40:10-14. Verse 18-20 describe the futility of making an idol. Then verse 25-26 underline His greatness. May we be encouraged by knowing that we serve a powerful God. May He be merciful and display His majesty in our lives and in our midst over and over again, so that we may have peace even in the fiercest storm.

Jehovah restores. We may go through very difficult times, but let us not give up on Him. He has a track record of restoration. The scriptures are full of examples of this. I am sure we have also experienced it in our lives. May we still see Him do it over and over again. And as we behold His work, may we rejoice and be glad. May the evidence of His unfailing love for mankind be forever present in our lives and in our midst. Psalm 71:19-24.

Testifying about what the Lord has done for us encourages us and others. It reminds us of God’s love and faithfulness and gives us hope because of the evidence that shows what He is capable of doing. Hopefully, we will always testify of the Lord’s goodness, and also be around people who also testify of the Lord’s goodness. May Jehovah also keep doing amazing things in our midst so that our testimonies abound. Psalm 71:14-18.

I pray that the Lord will not give up on us. We are creatures of habit and there may be things we do that displease Him. May He continue to help us and may we trust in Him. If there are adjustments He would like us to make, may we not be fearful. I pray that we shall all have brethren who can help us deal with our situations so that we don’t feel overwhelmed. Psalm 71:9-13.

The Lord has watched over us from January until now. He has done so too from our conception to this day. He will not stop. May we continue to trust and hope in Him. Let us not forget to thank and praise Him for His consistency. Psalm 71:1-8

The Lord created us to worship Him and fellowship with Him. He intended that we would radiate His presence. We were made for a relationship with Him. He ought to live in us, and we should display His character. Acts 17:24-28.

To carry God’s glory is something He treasures. He desires a deep and personal relationship with us. Let us relate with Him out of conviction and sincerity. He honours that. Psalm 50:1-23; Hosea 6:6b.

To radiate God’s glory is a function of His pleasure and mercy. He determines our life’s path. But one thing is certain, He is eternal and consistent. He is powerful and faithful. If He promises to glorify Himself in us, then He shall. Psalm 102:1-28.
