If you take time and talk to people around you, you will realise that people are dealing with difficult circumstances and you probably had no clue what they were faced with or you didn’t know the extent of the challenge they are faced with. I pray that the Lord would help us be more compassionate to one another. May we find the grace to forgive those who offend us so that we have the capacity to deal with other issues and not focus on the offense. Colossians 3:12-13.

May the Lord be gracious to us. May He keep blessing us and helping us. May we find favour with Him and with man. May we continue enjoying His love and mercy. May this love extend to those around us and may His peace be our portion. Psalm 37:1-7.

When things are thick and we look around us, I am sure we see other people prospering and we envy them sometimes. We wish we could be like them. Let us not forget that each person has a race to run, and it is an individual race. May the Lord help us focus on our race and appreciate our circumstances, even as we wait in joyful hope for our deliverance or breakthrough. Psalm 73:3-23.

There is a tendency to hide when going through challenges. If we are confident of God’s power and sure that there’s nothing too difficult for Him, then let us boast about our challenges and weaknesses. Let us share with the conviction that God can help us overcome the challenges and turn around our weaknesses. Our testimony will encourage someone and reassure them that God can help them too. 2 Corinthians 12:6-10.

We live in an era where tribulations are part of life. Even Jesus said that we will face trials. Our challenges are not meant to destroy us. It is a moment of training. The devil is also allowed to test us. But let us not forget whose we are. May our faith not be shaken. And if it is, may the Lord restore us. He is greater than any challenge we face and He knows what we are going through. 1 Peter 5:8-10.

We are not forgotten. The Lord has not abandoned us. He sees our plight and is concerned about us. Let us not give up, let us not despair. Just like a mother does not forget her baby, the Lord knows what we are going through. May we experience relief and deliverance from our troubles. Isaiah 49:14-16.

God loves people. He hears us when call Him. Among the gods there is none like Him. No other God can do what He does. May He teach us His way and may we follow Him. May He give us an undivided heart that we may fear Him. Psalm 86:5-11.

Let us therefore remind ourselves that we ought to depend on God’s grace as we journey through life. May we purpose to make Him our cornerstone. May all that we are and do, begin with Him. Apart from dealing with persecution, we sometimes encounter those who want to harm or destroy us. For whatever reason, they do not want you to thrive. May the Lord destroy their plans. May they live to see God’s victory in your life. May His name be glorified. Psalm 64:1-10.

In the midst of persecution and danger, the body of Christ grew and still grows today. That did not stop the hunger people had for the word of God. May we be aware of this need and share the gospel as the Lord enables us. May He work in and around us to draw people to Himself for His glory. May He perform signs and wonders even in our midst. Acts 8:1-8.
