Let us give thanks to the Lord for who He is, what He has done, and what He has promised to do. He is compassionate and has shown us mercy. He has helped us numerous times, and we should be grateful. He also promises us His presence and help. We are blessed. Psalm 100:1-5.

The beauty of our Lord is His loving nature. He delights in being merciful. His anger does not endure forever. May we not only experience that. May we also extend mercy to others Micah 7:18.

Now, we are not dealing with a god who doesn’t understand our weaknesses. He created us. Knowing us well, the Lord orchestrated a solution to our selfishness and wickedness. He sent His son to walk on the earth and encourage mankind. He brought hope, mercy, and love. He knows what ails us and is willing to help. May we be encouraged to embrace Him. Hebrews 4:14-16.

The human heart is generally wicked. Devoid of God’s love, man can do atrocious things. Hence the need to surrender to God and to allow Him to mold us into what He wants us to be. Nehemiah 9:26-31.

Despite our wickedness, Christ died on the cross so that we are delivered from sin and are guaranteed eternal life. He did it once for all. May we also extend grace to others by showing love to them. As we interact, may His love guide our every action. Ephesians 2:4-9.

Our willingness to surrender to God and His will for us makes it easier for Him to work in and through us for His glory despite our weaknesses. May our attitude reflect that willingness and may He find us worthy. At the end of the day, may our lives count for something. Esther 4:14.
