I’m reminded of what we shared on March 13th to 15th and 22nd. We were created primarily to serve God the Creator. This life we are living should therefore be directed by Him so that He may accomplish what He desires through us. This thinking may have guided Paul as he advised Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:12-16. May we take heed lest we mess up our lives and those of others around us.

We sometimes compare ourselves with someone who is better at something we do & may feel insufficient. But God gave each of us gifts and talents to serve Him. Let’s use who we are and what we have to be a blessing to those God brings our way. Let us also encourage those who feel they are not good enough. I would never have played basketball like I did without the support of my coaches, teammates and friends or become the teacher that I am without the support of those God put around me. 1 Timothy 4:12.

As we age andand s of us approach age 50 asaothers are headed to 60, may we make good decisions based on guidance from the Lord. Being senior members of society also places more responsibility on our shoulders. 1 Peter 4:7-11.

As we strive to focus on God, let’s purpose to live for Him as 1 Peter 4:1-6 proposes. We are fortunate that the Holy Spirit is available to us. As we do this, some of the challenges we face as a nation will dissipate.

In as much as our surroundings affects us in different ways, we shouldn’t allow them to take away our focus from the bigger picture, that is our divine purpose & God who should be at the centre of our being/existence. Colossians 2:16-19.

It is normal to get exasperated when we undergo tough situations. Mary, Martha and Lazarus did feel that way in John 11:1-12. But the Lord was in control. Be encouraged brethren.
