A glance at the history of God’s children will reveal that He never left His children alone. He ministered to them personally, or Jesus did likewise and after resurrection, the Holy Spirit was given the mandate to walk with them. We have a responsibility that will ensure His presence continues to abide with us. Hebrews 13:1-6.

To be able to live like 1 Corinthians 15:58 suggests, we need God’s help. We cannot do it on our own. Acknowledging God’s role is a good place to start. Galatians 2:20.

Let the belief of eternal consequence motivate us to consider what we do on this side of life. Hopefully it will convince us that being a decent human being and thus looking out for the interest of others is worth doing while we are on this earth. 1 Corinthians 15:58.

God decreeing to work in our lives is one thing. Our willingness to cooperate with Him is another. May we not doubt God’s will and purpose for our lives. May we willingly cooperate with Him so that it may be credited to us as righteousness. Romans 4:20-25.

And as vessels that God chooses to use, may we also be recipients of His love and the hope we profess. May we find favour with Him and with fellow man. Romans 4:13-21.

And may we also belive in the saving grace of our Lord. May we have faith that He can help and guide us, that He can draw men to Himself. He rescues and raises up, He protects and delivers. Psalm 65:1-12.

Let’s keep praying for the people in Syria and Turkey, especially those whose lives have been turned upside down by the earthquake. For those in Ukraine and Russia as well. And also any amongst us who are going through a tough time. Sometimes one wonders whether the challenges will end or how life will be going forward. Those is Judah and Israel felt the same way after the were conquered by Babylon. Jeremiah 33:1-16
